Do you, like me, love the idea of commemorating service to your country by getting a cool bit of flash where it is likely to be seen by everyone? No better time than the present to think about it. Perhaps your unit or detachment has a fine looking logo that they would be willing to have on your body. Maybe you would rather make up something on your own that more closely resembles your own personal commitment to service than that.
Any competent artist could help out. A fine line drawing of a company seal or logo would go well on your arm, leg or torso. If it were drawn in colour, it would be even better. Some subtle shading along with black ink and a selection of hues are ideal for this kind of situation. Visually pleasing forms combined with an earnest desire to impress viewers is all it takes to make a difference in the life of all who you touch. Just remember the first time you saw an officer of enlisted person make an entrance into the room with their own art boldly displayed for all to see. It may have been a memory that is burned into your psyche forever and then again maybe it is not. If it was not a good piece then there is a chance that you do not remember it as vividly as you might.
Given that so many selflessly sacrifice their time and spirit in the furtherance of the goals of their country, it is only fitting that a memento of service is truly in order. The bigger the better is the catchphrase that best explains this concept. A proud memorial of a time and place can be well brought to life by this kind of tribute.
Just as great builders bring their vision of a brighter future into existence by placing their mark upon the skyline of a major city so to can the service of one individual be brought home in a way that will bring a tear to the eye of all those concerned.
